City life
Meander around the lanes of Old Montreal which lie near the river to get a feel off the past. Head to Parc du Mont Royal with its sprawling leafy walks and panoramic views from the Kondiaronk lookout. Then go shopping at the Underground City Mall - a climate-controlled maze of 2000 shops that cover 29 kilometers.

Enjoy
Montreal is a gastronome’s mecca. You can treat yourself to shish taouk, smoked meat sandwiches, poutine (a typical Québec dish of fries and cheese curds smothered with gravy), ris de veau or foie gras in more than 5,000 restaurants.

Entertainment
Spend the weekend checking out new exhibitions at museums (Warhol and rock ’n’ roll, for example), catching a premiere screening from the Festival du nouveau cinema or cheering on the hockey team – Canadiens de Montréal.
