Every EF course includes comfortable accommodation and a weekly meal plan. Most EF school locations offer a choice of at least two housing options. Regardless of which lifestyle suits you best, you'll be living around native speakers and immersing yourself in local customs and culture-and putting your language skills to use!
EF Homestay
Nearly all our school locations offer the option of a welcoming home environment. An EF host family is a useful way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your host culture. Experience a hearty Irish supper in Dublin, la vie française in Nice, the Gemütlichkeit of family life in Munich, or the paella around the family table in Malaga.
Over the years, each EF school location has built up a network of local families who welcome visiting students into their homes when interviewing prospective new hosts. Living in a private home provides a little extra assurance for less experienced travelers and provides a safe and supportive base from which to explore your new host city.
EF Residential living
When it comes to residence living – we definately have something for everyone! The style of our residences ranges by destination. At many of our schools we offer dormitory style living or shared student apartments, where all the basics are provided from self-catering facilities to common recreation areas. Some schools offer accommodation in youth hostels, where EF students share rooms with other EF students, but share facilities with travelers from around the world. At a few schools, we even have exclusive luxury student accommodation in apart-hotels or student resorts with a high-class standard.
